In cold water, you’ll quickly appreciate the smoothskin inner face seal that not only ensures a comfortable fit, but also keeps cold water out. Also appreciated on a cold water dive is the bib on this hood that tucks into your wetsuit to provide more protection from the cold water. Warmth is the name of the game with this hood and it performs. With vents in the reinforced middle panel, a little heat escapes but you’ll appreciate that your hood is venting the air rather than blowing up like a balloon. Great for cold water.
