Using SubWave™ sonar technology, the Garmin Descent™ S1 allows surface support to track and monitor up to 8 divers within a range of 100 meters, offering unmatched visibility into each diver's status and location. Use the Garmin Dive™ app to send and receive preset messages between the surface and divers. 

The Garmin Descent™ S1 Diver Communication Buoy requires each diver to have a paired Descent T2 transceiver and an air-integrated Descent dive computer.
